Hey. I've got what seems to be a fairly complicated interaction with SSRI and

side effects. I've had the standard gamut of symptoms since I was 16 and started

trying to have orgasms. I noticed that I would only be able to have them if I

waited every week and a half or two before each attempt. Now, I'd say I have a

decent libido, and even though I would have thoroughly unenjoyable experiences,

I would keep finishing regardless. I couldn't stick with the whole week and a

half schedule, despite the benefits it would provide me.

Now, this is when it gets complicated. Around the same time- I can't say whether

it was before or afterward, I started to take Paxil. I took this for about half

a year, and the symptoms I mentioned continued until- well, today. I've also

been on and off myriad other SSRIs in an attempt to cure my anxiety and

depression, the extent of which I can't even remember completely. I'm currently

taking Cymbalta and Buspirone, with no change to my sensation.

I guess my question is: what can be done to make things better? I'd like

information as technical as possible, I've had some experience studying

neurotransmitters and biology of the brain in college so at the very least I'll

be able to grasp the basics. What is the chemical reaction that's malfunctioning

here? Why does it seem that if I wait for two weeks, things will be okay for

about 3 or 4 days?
