Guest guest
This reminds me that a year ago I tried to get the cash discount at my doctor (which was slightly cheaper oop for me than the insurance " discount " ) and they told me it was fraud not to send it in to insurance. I told them I would mail it in, and that was fine with them. So there may be issues with private insurance, as well, with ins cos that would reimburse. I imagine that depends on whether LC services would be considered medical care, and " hiding " them from insurance would be like hiding a pre-existing condition or something. I figure I'm in the same category as a massage therapist--the best preventative care out there, but not medicalized.Lynn in MO Not sure about your state but in Calif., it is strictly illegal to directly bill a MediCal/Medicaid patient.
