Guest guest
I have a joint visit today with a CST and TWO post-posterior tongue tie revision babies. Can someone call me or email me @cradlehold@... this morning. I want to help one baby get back to the breast. He is now 9 weeks old. Moms supply is tanking and this baby is still not using any jaw action at the breast. He is used to fast flow from the bottle. We are using SNS/occasional nipple shield/fenugreek, etc. He transferred one time 1.5 ounces but typically 0.2-0.6 ounces. Other baby just had a procedure on Weds. Moms nipples are still beat up. Tight jaw. Transfers well but mom is constantly becoming abraded. He is 3 weeks old now. What can I do best at these visits to support these moms who are needless to say DISCOURAGED. Thank you for your wealth of information and compassion for moms and am LC who wants to help them turn the corner to success. Dana
Guest guest
Hi Dana, How did this visit go? Sorry - I only saw it today, so couldn't offer any suggestions. Guest guest
First baby needs more off maxillary frenum and muscle tested allergic to cows/soy milk. CST recommended goats milk/ breast milk. Mom is at breaking point. Baby is arching and not getting deep into breast.Second baby so much better after additional maxillary clip and jaw/mouth exercises to break up adhesions. Thank you all. It really helps to have a good team. DanaSent from my iPhone Hi Dana, How did this visit go? Sorry - I only saw it today, so couldn't offer any suggestions.
