You did everything humanly possible, & still you lost the battle to save your little girl. Watching Crystal seize everyday, I can't help but to think of your Hannah. She was such a beautiful child. Very much loved by you, Gavan & your support community... I know you didn't realize it when you suggested the Keto diet. It really is a great diet, just very hard to implement. When I explained my home situation to her neurologist, he conceded that it wasn't a practical alternative for Crystal at this time. Maybe in a few years, when the boys are no longer living at home. Then I'll just have my other daughter to contend with, & she CAN be reasoned with... As I'm sure you know, life is rarely easy...Harv is having a very hard time coping with Crystal's illness. He rarely talks to me about how he's feeling, & walks around alot of the time sullen & angry...This is NOT good, but I'm absolutely clueless as to how to help him. He shuts down totally if I approach him about it. He refuses to join the PMG group, because he thinks that we're a bunch of whiners. He never actually said that, but he's insinuated it more then once. Anyway, again, thanks so much for being there. For being my friend, no matter what...
