Guest guest
Dear colleagues,A nurse in my area came with the following case.A mother told her on a postnatal visit (two weeks old baby) that 3 to 4 hours after supplementing the baby with Vit D the baby was fussy. The mother first used vit D based on oil, but using Vit D in water gave the same fussyness. She also changed the time of supllementing, but then after 3 to 4 hours the baby is fussy. Baby is growing well. I searched on LACTNET, but could not find info.I also searched the archives of this list.Anybody an idea? I read on Lactnet that Vit D3 is made out of lanoline.Thank you in advanceMarijke Frings Marijke Frings Consult | Borstvoedingcafé Weert Lactatiekundig en Voedingskundig AdviesIr.
