DH and I were both vying for the same cool spot in our house this afternoon (it is 90 degrees outside and we are only running our A/C if we are dying) and I won for a quick 15 minute workout then gave it to him (but now he doesn't want it, that's okay, I don't really want to do more anyway). I did Tamilee's I Want Those Arms Program 2 again. Went up to 6s for all except the concentration curls, went to 12 with those. This program moves fast with no rests between exercises. Sixes seemed pretty good but I think I'll try 7s next time just to see. The 12s for concentration curls (1 set of 12 then 1 set of 8 as she goes through the entire circuit a 2nd time) were tough but I made it. Definitely can't go heavier on those for now. I also did 25 push-ups on my knees waiting for the DVD to start. Good quick workout. We had a nice party for DS's 14th yesterday with family plus my best friend and her kids. Had nice long, overdue conversations with BFF, we don't see each other hardly ever these days when we used to get together weekly when the kids were little. We're seeing each other again, with our hubbies, kids and another couple at our mutual friends' house in a little while for a bbq. Glad I got a litte bit of fitness in today. Got LOTS Friday and Saturday getting the house cleaned and ready for the party (now I just gotta keep it this way) but no videos since Thursday. June is almost here and I need to plan my foot-friendly rotation. I found some cool non-video workouts I think I can do off Pinterest, plus I've got the ones sent me so I'm going to put those in too. Shoud be fun to play with. I'll post when I put it together!
