Guest guest
Donna, I love love love Blissology! I know you will too. They take place in Bali, and each of the dvds has a shorter and longer yoga practice on it, along with a meditation. I've only done one of the meditations but all of the longer practices and they are a treasure! I too have a couple of chores to finish today -cleaning the aquarium (my most dreaded chore because it can be messy) and deep cleaning one of the bathrooms, oh and putting away the clothes I washed. I probably won't go to the gym today but will do spinning and biceps at home. I didn't have a stellar week last week, only a little over 4 hours. I am gong to focus on my diet and get serious. For all the work I put in I should be ripped and shredded and I'm sick of all this fat hiding my fit body! laura Hi Everyone,Happy Memorial Day - I'm just trying to take it easy today - I did get some housekeeping done - I'm debating whehter or not I should tackle one of my " projects " (mostly closets to declutter) or just do nothing (except read, relax, maybe do some crafts/games w/ DD) - I think I just made up my mind! My workout this morning was Coffey Meyer's 30 Min to Fitness Cardio Blast - Athletic Step Routine. This was challenging and fun. I really like and now want to plan a rotation with her workouts. I may save her for the back to school season, though - since her 30 min to fitness are about 30 min and easy to fit in on busy mornings. The other workout on this DVD is a plyo workout. And, she also has 2 pre-mixes where you do a step combo and then one or two plyo blasts in between. Yikes! seems very down to earth and I like that she is around my age for inspirational purposes. I think may be a litlte older than me, Tracie a little younger. I think I have decided on a Tracie Long rotation for after X-Factor. I have had her workouts sitting in shrinkwrap for some time so it is time to use them. I'm going to follow the template on her website and also on the " My Month With Tracie Long " thread on General Discussion Forum at VF.Oh - I added on 20 min yoga makeover power beauty sweat this morning. Oh - the Ultimate Yogi threads on VF have sucked me in - but I don't plan on buying that right away (or ever) - but one thing lead to another and now I'm looking at Blissology. Anyone have it? Thoughts? It is better priced and also probably a little more do-able than Ultimate Yogi.. Take care!Donna
Guest guest
I also have Blissology, and have enjoyed the short practices that I've done. I don't do them regularly enough, though. Maybe tonight! Guest guest
OOH - now I AM getting tempted - I really like that there are shorter "options" so that one would not have to necessarily give up all other workouts to focus on yoga. It is also way more reasonably priced that Ultimate Yogi. I'm going to watch the prices on Amazon and may cave......right now it is $46.... Guest guest
The " shorter " practices range in length from 27 to 35 minutes or so - they are just abbreviated versions of the longer poses (i.e., some of the poses in the longer practices are left out). The scenery is really lovely. Or you could wait for the Ultimate Yogi Foundation practices that will be released in August, I think. But those are supposed to run about 50 minutes each. Do you have her new step boxing? Its just 2 30 minute workouts and its a real fun one. I agree that her workouts are great for school days. My daughters last day is Thursday, but I'm debating on even sending her tomorrow because her allergies are through the roof and its field day at school tomorrow. They will spend most of the day outside. ´¨¨)) -:¦:-¸.·´ .·´¨¨))((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:- ~-:¦:- ((¸¸.·´*
Guest guest
> I think I have decided on a Tracie Long rotation for after > X-Factor. I have had her workouts sitting in shrinkwrap for some > time so it is time to use them. oh my gosh!!! i have some tracie workouts that i would really like to get off of my virgin list. i love her! i might join in, but i have to be careful that she doesnt get me to do anything unusual with bad form (tracie's form is perfect of course but she sometimes likes to do some unique exercises). i am quite interested in looking at the template you mentioned on her website and the tracie thread on VF, thankyou for mentioning those. are you taking a recovery week after x-factor or jumping right into your next rotation? >I'm looking at Blissology. Anyone have > it? Thoughts? i have them, courtesy of a wonderful fitness friend. laura and judy also have the set. i know that judy really enjoys it. ive done a few of the workouts and they were good. i was planning on doing a whole eoin finn rotation (including blissology and his other stuff) for recovery after doing x-factor, but since i dropped out of x-factor, my yoga rotation also fell apart. oh well, i still have eoin on my rotation list and will get to him some day soon, i hope. :*carolyn.
