Guest guest
for my gilad workout today i did two more episodes of his total body sculpt tv show. finished off dvd one, with the 3rd ep, then did the 1st ep from dvd two. i had not noticed this before but he duplicated alot of the same moves from the first dvd into the workouts that are on the second dvd. they are fabulous exercises, but i was hoping for something a bit different. gilad made a joke and kelly rolled her eyes behind his back...lol. he was doing bicep curls and there was the annoying pause for the commercial break. when he came back he was still doing the curls and was counting '200, 201, 202..'. i tried to move my arms as much as possible but could not do any punching or anything with weights. also absolutely no ab crunches. i was very conscious of my issue and was careful. still a good workout for the legs, glutes and waist. i slept with my shoulder propped up on a bolster last night and it feels alot better. just my lat, neck and trap on the left side are seized up right now and the ribs are giving me that 'stab in the back' feeling. i will keep working on it and am expecting to feel better in a couple more days, especially with having two easy shifts coming up and some days off due to easter. they will probably try to get me to work extra hours again but i will have to give it some thought before committing. :*carolyn. Guest guest
> Sorry to hear your upper back is acting up again. thanks donna. i will survive... just a bit limited for a while. at least now i am smarter, and calmer, about the whole thing which helps. > So, would you say these Gilads are worth it - or, too much > repetition? i was surprised at the repetition. on the second dvd, the first half of the workout was the exact same stuff as the last workout on the first dvd. of course gilad has his formula and these workouts are all structured the same, and he has his signature moves, and that is perfectly fine. but i had to keep reassuring myself that it was indeed a different workout (different outfits and different background guy). i cant comment on the rest of the workouts or if they are repetitious too, or not. and oh how it hurts me to criticize my beloved gilad! LOL of course i have all 3 discs in this set, but im thinking that one or two of the discs would suffice especially if you are going to do them in a row. :*carolyn. Guest guest
Thanks, Carolyn! Hmm... maybe i can get one of these and call it good? Or maybe I can get the Lord of the Abs DVD that has. Or, more realistically, and practically, maybe I should get NOTHING! :)Donna> Sorry to hear your upper back is acting up again.thanks donna. i will survive... just a bit limited for a while.at least now i am smarter, and calmer, about the whole thing which helps.> So, would you say these Gilads are worth it - or, too much> repetition?i was surprised at the repetition. on the second dvd, the first half of the workout was the exact same stuff as the last workout on the first dvd. of course gilad has his formula and these workouts are all structured the same, and he has his signature moves, and that is perfectly fine. but i had to keep reassuring myself that it was indeed a different workout (different outfits and different background guy). i cant comment on the rest of the workouts or if they are repetitious too, or not. and oh how it hurts me to criticize my beloved gilad!
