I am not a fan of this company's products at all. Glandulars can be effective

treatment for endocrine disorders, but the purity is very important and they

need to be supervised by a practitioner, IMO. As to milk supply--which hormones

would have been present at the time of slaughter? Not something I would

recommend at all.

that was my thought. Also , what I've been hearing from moms who have been using it is that it didn't affect their milk supply at all. (when I've come around after the LC that's been suggesting it...). I have seen this product too and am with T in my view and skepticism of the product. Also, this products is not necessarily marketed to increase milk supply nor does the company make any comment about lactation issues supported by the use of this product that I am aware of. It seems the “mammary” in the title is simply because it is made from bovine mammary glandular tissue which the company theorizes could help overall cellular health. They theorize that the bovine glandular tissue will stimulate and in turn suppress certain hormonal responses and therefore support the hypothalamus, adrenals, etc, etc. I have only worked with one mom whose midwife suggested this product when it was thought her thyroid may be affecting milk supply but that is my only experience with it. In theory I can see it used when an underlying endocrine issue is the problem but not as a routine galactogogue or a stand alone therapy. I am also really skeptical of the quality of any bovine/animal by-product and would want way more info on this stuff before ever considering it. Cole

This reminds me of placenta encapsulation for 'prevention/treatment' of PPMD or

insufficient milk.

It is verrry hot in my area.
