Guest guest
Hi Dana, I have in my supply bag 5fr feeding tubes, 10, 20, 30ml syringes, nipple shields/shells, supple cups, haberman feeder, hazelbaker sns, motherlove products. I think bulk ordering would be great. It would allow us to purchase these items at a lower price. I have slowly built my supply bag up and found that these items are what I rely on most. Would love to hear what others are packing. inewww.BirthingWisdom.comSent from my iPad Yes I would Dana. Vicki Carlson bfairy1@... Let me know. Guest guest
I carry a little of everything, really. I never know what I will need. I don’t need anything much right now but would like to have 1-2 lactaids on hand if anyone wants to spilt an order (the minimum purchase for bulk discount is pretty high if I remember correctly). One way I see bulk orders working through yahoo groups is that the organizer sets up a database within the yahoo group and then people add their orders in that way. It keeps it organized and efficient. Cole
Guest guest
Ok, I'm on a mission to get this organized. If you ladies can give me the brands and the items you want, I will try to set up a sort of co-op for buying the items we need in bulk. Some things you may actually have to tell me how to use too (LOL)! I have to tell you that I do more nursing work being a lactation consultant than I was in my nursing position. I was telling my husband, in our state we do not require CMEs for a nursing license but we do for IBCLC. It forces me to learn and be better and smarter. I literally Thank God that I have sister friends in the business - they are few and far between. Guest guest
Ok, so this is what I've collected that you are looking for: #5Fr feeding tubes 10, 20, 30 ml syringes Mamivac/Medela Nipple shields (sizes?) Nipple Shells (preference of brand?) Lact-Aids Supply Cups Haberman Feeders Mother Love Products What about periodontal syringes? Also a request was sent out to put together a supply bag checklist. Does anyone want to post that in the database? I like to have a checklist because if I don't, inevitably I get to a home and have forgotten something. Guest guest
I would also like Medela SNS, both starter and regular. Around here, that's the brand people look for, but it's tough to get now that everything sterile has to be ordered in large case quantity that I'll have sitting here for years! Guest guest
Hi ok my $.02 the #5Fr feeding tubes should be the longer ones 30 " I think not the 15 " at least for me and the syringes should not be the ones with the screw tip (forget what that is called) right? And I would love some of the periodontal syringes GW had some really nice nipple shields very reasonable from Germany I think at the PP Conference would be nice if we could get them in bulk....????
