I kept both SITS workouts because they are cheerful.  Light, yes, but cheerful!  The Blanks Cardioke workout I did las week reminded me a bit of SITS that way!

 

Hi Everyone,

 

I'm surprisingly sore from the X-Factor workout yesterday. Not horribly sore, but enough to know I did workout yesterday. I'm mostly sore in my glutes, although my shoulders/triceps are tad sore as well. I'm a bit surprised b/c the workout didn't seem hard enough to make me sore...guess my glutes really are weak and do need to be strengthened!

For today I did Donna 's Sweating in the Spirit, it is an older workout - maybe early 2000's. It is 45 min of mostly low impact cardio w/ a Gospel soundtrack. I felt like something fun, light-ish, and upbeat today and this fit the bill. I added on the core workout from Donna's Body Gospel kit from Beach Body, which actually had a lot of the same music in it as Sweating in the Spirit! It is a Pilates inspired workout. Overall, this was good for today. One good thing about the X-factor workouts is, I won't feel guilty about picking some lighter and just-for-fun workouts to do on the in-between

days b/c I have a feeling the X-Factor will challenge me sufficiently and provide enough intensity on those days.Hope everyone has a good day - tomorrow, it is X-Factor again plus yoga (or some other type of flexibility work) and hopefully a walk in the evening while my DD is at her art class.

Good work, Donna. I've always liked Donna R. I haven't done one of her workouts in a long time. She was always so bubbly.Have you got your new Gilad abs workout yet?
