Guest guest
I hate the " over qualified " answer. I'm over qualified for my job but I love that I'm seldom stressed out and have never worked overtime. It allows me to pursue my fitness hobbies.I agree, the routine does help with getting the workout in, I'm the same way! Hugs.. sending employment wishes your way! Turbo Jam almost always cheers me up though, even if just a little. I did the 45 min Turbo Jam this afternoon, trying to get back into the routine of workouts. It's hard to keep a routine when you don't have to be places at certain times. It's easy to wait for " later. " -- A job would help regulate that a lot. Feeling down about the job situation... Had an interview Thursday and was told I was over-qualified, but they " would keep me on file if a better fit came along. " :-( I'm going to have DOMs tomorrow! Guest guest
> I hate the " over qualified " answer. it sucks, but in some cases it is true. im also way over-qualified for my job but if they were picky that way then they would have missed out on a good employee. on the other hand, my dh is trying to hire a construction labourer and one guy is very over-qualified by currently working as an airplane technician for way more money. i have no idea why he applied for this job, but i advised dh to not hire him because i expect that he will quit and return to the airplane stuff. it can be a tough call. the grocery store doesnt care that much about high employee turnover since they have a huge waiting list of potential employees. my dh has a very small company and cant afford to train a quitter or to keep searching for employees. anyway, im keeping my fingers crossed for you indy. keep trying and you will find a good job!! :*carolyn. .... who would like to quit her job and get a better one but it is tough out there! Guest guest
I agree, same here for DH. But I think large companies don't like to keep retraining people. My training involved a trip via air to St Bernardino, and hotel stay for 3 nights. All paid by the hospital. I only paid for food and I ate at the IHOP (gotta love crepes). I loved it, it was a nice vacation. I have never been in the USA alone and this was a free trip. I have no idea why they chose that kind of expense to send me for training when it could have been done via telecast on the computer. They had not sent anyone else for training ever since. I was the best and trained everyone else. I miss my job sometimes but I love to be with my kids too. > my dh has a very small company and cant > afford to train a quitter or to keep searching for employees.
