Guest guest
I remember reading that only 1 in 10 doctors report side effects to the regulators. Stay strong. I'm pulling for you. > > > > I mean they can deny the condition all they want, but when presented > > with reputable studies documenting this disorder, it'd be > interesting > > to see how they'd react, maybe they'd take you more seriously... > > >
Guest guest
so if every one did this they would have to see at least 10 doctors before they find one that's going to take this seriously. > > > > > > I mean they can deny the condition all they want, but when presented > > > with reputable studies documenting this disorder, it'd be > > interesting > > > to see how they'd react, maybe they'd take you more seriously... > > > > > >
Guest guest
Any patient can and should himself report unknown side effects of medication to the national governmental organisation that registrates side effects. You can ask a pharmacist for the web adress of this organisation. And your pharmacist can assist in writing an email to this institute. Doctors should also report side new side effects to this institute, but sometimes have no time to do so.
Guest guest
well i think we should all report them and the doctors should make time for something so serious after all they are paid a lot of money! > > Any patient can and should himself report unknown side effects of > medication to the national governmental organisation that registrates > side effects. Guest guest
That is the known statistic. In translation maybe it could mean that one would have to try ten times harder to influence the doctor to live up to the code of ethics that's required. Doctors in general are habitual criminals. So it is an uphill battle to convince them to do the right thing. Maybe 9 out of 10 will just piss on your leg and tell you it's raining. I'm not sure how one would verify if the doctor actually reported it to the FDA. (besides taking the docs word for it.) There should be a way to contact the FDA to find out what the doctor reports. But I don't know for certain if the FDA provides that information. Research. > > > > > > > > I mean they can deny the condition all they want, but when > presented > > > > with reputable studies documenting this disorder, it'd be > > > interesting > > > > to see how they'd react, maybe they'd take you more seriously... > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
i think you can write a letter to the regulators demanding the info under the freedom of information act, i was thinking more along the line of doing this behind the doctors back, then if it becomes apparent they haven't reported the issues to them another letter to the regulators explaining the situation. then the doctor would get at least a letter warning him that he is obliged to report drug reactions to the regulators, this would put a black mark by the doctors name and he wouldn't like this. ( " failing to report an adverse reaction to a drug " ) if we all did this the doctors would start to take this seriously as were not just taking it lying down as we all are now... > > > > > > > > > > I mean they can deny the condition all they want, but when > > presented > > > > > with reputable studies documenting this disorder, it'd be > > > > interesting > > > > > to see how they'd react, maybe they'd take you more seriously... > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
