Guest guest
Giving up procesed food isn't hard to do. And it saves you money. I had a nutrition couselor that said everything you need is basically found on the outer perimeter of the grocery store. Processed food has lost a lot of nutritional value. And the preservatives are not good for you. The reason why the shelf life is so long for processed food is that the bacteria doesn't want to eat it. The chemicals also kill the healthy bacteria in your inestines. This will cause a nutrient deficeincy, so it's very plausable that this will hinder recovery and possibly cause new illnesses. This also means avoiding any kind of diet or light drinks and foods. Artificial sweetners are just more bad chemicals. e.g. aspartame. I wouldn't give up meat. Having a diet rich in protein makes the body and mind stronger. From an evolution perspective, the strongest and smartest animals are all meat eaters, with the exception of elephants. I think that eating meat is a good thing. I wouldn't give it up. > > Has anyone tried giving up processed foods? > > How about trying to give up meat? >
Guest guest
If you do give up meat...you have to do more than just giving it up, you have to study how to replace it with approriate proteins. There are whole cultures of people who don't eat meat AND they have a lower cancer rate. > > > > Has anyone tried giving up processed foods? > > > > How about trying to give up meat? > > >
