Hi Mel,

I am amazed when I see posts about weight going back on. I know it is

early days for me being only two weeks post op so I guess I am yet to

see any difficulties. Now I am transitioning from liquids to mushies.

but in tiny amounts. and I feel full and content., which is something I

haven't felt in a long, long time. I don't eat the junk foods, never

have really. I just used to eat huge quantities.

My Doctor gave me this guide called " The Lap-Band " it is a narrow grey

covered book that talks about it all and especially the food part. It

has a segment called " The Eight Golden Rules " There rules are:

1. Eat three small meals per day.

2. Eat only good solid food.

3. Eat slowly, stop when comfortable.

4. Do not eat anything between meals.

5. Take no liquids with meal.

6. All liquids must be zero calorie.

7. Exercise for at least 30 minutes a every day.

8. Be active.

I don't know what stage you are at but may I ask do you follow this regime?
