Guest guest
Gawd... the reason I started that post was to tell you that after my disasterous dinner out last night, that I have stuck to liquids all day - except for coming home from the airport when decided that one those mini cylinders of Pringles would be a good nibble. She had half, and I had half... no problems. So tonight I have had 1/2 cup of lamb shank stew and mash from the local take out - and so far - no problems at all. So that is why it is a better afternoon - after twenty four hours of no solids - I have been able to manage a nice wee few mouthfuls. Excellent I say - I was starting to get really really miserable about being on iced water and smoothies that tasted like nothing much at all. Oh and some lemon tea... that is always soothing I find when all else fails. Peppermint tea is also a favourite of mine when nothing else will go down in the morning. See... rambling now. is going out to a nightclub now - tells me will be home between 4 and 5 am. I wish I could find that sort of stamina. It is a night club in Darlinghurst - and it is a "Foam Party" - special invites only! What the hell is a foam party? Can't wait till tomorrow to find out all the sordid details - or maybe not!!! LOL! Mel >> > > > Good Evening to you all...> > It has been one of those days! A good one and a sad one I suppose. I> went for a cuppa with my friend this morning and then walked home from> the shops - phew was it humid!!!! I was not home long and then I had to> head back out again to go and meet Nic, Mazz & ( at> St. Leonards. I have to get the train cause I can't drive - which is> ok, and I have to say probably quicker and cheaper than driving down and> paying to park... from now on if I can, this is going to be my method of> getting there. BUT... I was on the only damned train on the network> that did not have air con. With my arm in a sling... the heat that it> radiates between arm and body is not nice and causes very unattractive> sweat marks on my shirts. I can however tell you it was lovely to see> the gals and catch before her month long overseas trip, and boy> is she looking slim!!!!> > I had an email from Andi today to say that she is getting on well with> her pregnancy and wishes she had more time to get through all the posts> and see how everyone is getting on... but between one thing and another,> she just runs out of time. She is however well and sounds blissfully> happy.> > The sad part of my day was that after have a bite with the girls,> picked me up and we continued on to the airport with my wee> Dougie. He is off home back to Edinburgh... and I am going to miss him> coming through the back door when I least expect it. He always had a> big smile and a load of news about what was happening up beyond Blayney> where he was riding his polo ponies at Millamalong. He says that he is> quite hopeful that he might be back for the winter polo season from June> to September, and I would welcome him back with open arms. So, sad and> happy all together in one day.> > Hope you have all had nice days and that you are all fit and healthy.> > Have lovely weekends,> > Mel []>
