I just ordered Aurorix - $50 ($35 plus $15 shipping) for 30 150mg

tablets. Plan on trying it right after the new year. I figure why

not...it seems pretty safe. I will follow Vornan's lead and do a 4

week cycle and take a break, and perhaps add some Cialis in between.

Are your estradiol levels decent? I had read that they could potentially

lower sensitivity.

Luther,

Where did you order the Aurorix from?

I would like to order it from a credible site.

Anti Aging Systems. Vornan provided the link earlier.

It would be cool to get a few of us to try it and we can compare

notes.

i was just reading about Moclobemide and apparently it raises

prolactin, ive been taking gaba and arginine with some positive

results, these also increase prolactin.

prolactin has a negative effect on libido and decreases levels of

dopamine, vornan am i rite by saying when you were on Moclobemide you

experienced increased libido when you started to come off it?

if so its because of prolactin.

Vornan,

I notcied where you mentioned that you did not overlap your regimens

but that you started taking Cialis shortly after Aurorix.

Did you notice the positive effects from Aurorix before you started

on Cialis or did they coincide?

The effects were seperate. In any case, I have taken cialis before

so I know it wasn't that.

Incorrect assumption. It does increase prolactin, but it also increases

testosterone. But I think these things had nothing to do with the

persistent improvements I've had since I stopped taking it. You need

to stop looking for ways to suggest that it didn't work. It did.

im not looking for ways to suggest it didn't work! im looking for a

way to explain its positive effects.

it has slight effects on raising dopamine, well dopamine & prolactin

are linked ones up and the other is down.

other people have said that anything that raises dopamine has had

negative effects, so i was making a connection between that and what

Moclobemides effects are on prolactin. i.e it raises prolactin so in

turn should decrease dopamine.

but dopamine is the go get it neurotransmitter so when you started to

taper off it you said you felt you noticed more of an effect.

this could be due to dopamine regaining dominance over prolactin and

you brain chemestry returning to a more PRE ssris state.

ive been reading about savonts who are like geniuses but who are

slightly handy capped i.e like the rainman.

ive also been looking at transcranial magnetic stimulation.

http://www.revolutionhealth.com/conditions/mental-behavioral-

health/depression/other-treatments/transcranial-magnetic

apparently this device can be used to temporarily shut down an area

in someones brain, the left side of your brain is the thinking

reasoning side the right is the creative side.

this device has been used to temporarily shut down the thinking

reasoning areas of peoples brains, when this is done the more

creative side of the brain takes over and the person is able to draw

or paint pictures that they were unable to do while the thinking

reasoning area of the brain is active.

have you ever read about people that have brain injuries or strokes

gaining abilities that they did not have previous to there accident

or stroke?

well its this effect that is taking place.

i believe that taking the ssris may have opened or activated areas of

the brain that are interrupting or getting in the way of normal

stimulation. i.e pssd

and these areas need to be realigned or deactivated.

and perhaps the positive effects you have had on Moclobemide are

because of this process taking place.

if you put a tens machine on your skin where you have got pain it

decreases the pain, that's because of an electric signal.

your brain can work in the same way if something is constantly

switched on when it shouldn't be.

Hi Voran.

A few months ago i remember you said you took a months dose of cialis,

tablets which were dilured into a water bottle and taken bit by bit

everyday. You said that you think it helped you with your erection

abilities, able to get an erection whenever you wanted. A few months

on, is this still the case? Thanks

Yes, it still works. I've found that it helps even at 2.5 mg per day, and this dosing regimen was recently approved by the FDA:

http://www.webmd.com/erectile-dysfunction/news/20080111/fda-oks-once-daily-cialis

In fact, even during my "off cycles" I can get a reasonable erection (good enough to have sex), and can have a normal orgasm more often than not. The major remaining problem for me is a total lack of libido.
