Hello everybody.

Let me continue the trend set by Kishore. Here's trivia quiz Part II on Amitabh

Bachchan. Except for the odd question, most of the questions below are from

memory. So don't ask me for references....I can't provide them!

renamed and what was the original name?

3. Years ago, in the days of Bofors, an anguished Bachchan penned a poem which

magazine it was published in. Since then Amitabh has maintained that he doesn't

write poems...perhaps because of the flak he received saying he couldn't write (

Okay Anshu, here are just some answers that I know. The rest are a bit

difficult.

Amitabh was named by Harivanshrai's friend, the poet, Maithalisharan Gupt.

The cartoon character was called Abby.

Amitabh was named Vijay first in the film Zanjeer, where he avquired the

angry young man trade mark. Thereafter, whenever he had an angry young man

role, the name was Vijay. Deewar, Shakti, Zanjeer, Aankhen, Kaala Pathar,

Roti Kapda aur Makaan, Khuddar, Sharaabi, Lawaaris, Trishul, Agnipath,

Kabhie Kabhie, Shaan, Do Aur Do Paanch, Akela and Dostana are the movies

which had Vijay as a protagonist. Deewar had him as Vijay Verma.

The song Ek rahein Eer, Ek rahein beer was his pop song recorded by his

music company Abby records.

His bunglow was named Maansa earlier, but was renamed Jalsa by Vastu

specialist Neeta Sinha. Immediately after that he got KBC.

Myasthenia gravis was rediagnosed as Multiple Sclerosis.

The song Yeke Yeke was made in Hindi as Yama Yama from Shaan.
