Hi,

In 1991 the founder(Mark) of this group (CAA) went to Washington DC

with the largest CFIDS organization in the USA, that was the " San

Francisco CFIDS Association " . SF CFIDS Association had an 800 number

for 7 years.

CACTUS in California was run by Joan Sutherland, Joan was the main

reason the S.F. group and the North Carolina group went to Washington

to find another lobbyist.

They picked the AIDS lobbyist Sheridan group.

This lobbyist was supposed to represent all of us through out the USA.

However the North Carolina founder (Mark a banker) took over the

lobbyist and no one was allowed to talk to their Senators and

congressmen/women without going through the Lobbyist who was hired by

the North Carolina group, the CAA.

The CAA hired there first CEO and only CEO Kim Kenney McCleary who

lives in Texas now with her husband. Kime kenney was working on the

newsletter at first and appeared at her first National meeting in

Atlanta, 1993 with Tom Sheridan (lobyist) grooming her, and giving her

questions to ask. Questions that really were not ones the rest of us

wanted.

My point? They have not done the job they say they have.

Things are rolling concerning research and the money that was miss

spent by CDC in the 1990's.

CDC apologized but nothing has happened except the whistle blower,

Reeves is still working and he was one of the people who diverted

money to other diseases of mental health.

This was happening with NIH Dr. Strauss head of CFS from 1986

to 2000 when it was clear the CFIDS population, researchers and

patients had let the HHS/Health and Human Services and Congressional

representatives know that Strauss was wrong. He gave Wessely in the

UK a platform to change ME to CFS at the World Health Organization/WHO

Collaborative center.

By the way, CDC is the WHO collaborative Center in the USA, Reeves and

Strauss teamed with the UK and now we are FATIGUED.
