Guest guest
I would suggest they keep going on, make whatever adjustments need to be made in their life and keep searching for a doctor that hears them and can offer them support in any way they can, be it emotional, medicinal, whatever. I have done more for myself thru research, via books, internet, etc than any doctor has done for me so far. My GP (who dx'd me with CFIDS 7 years ago) just told my husband yesterday that he doesn't really know what I have exactly and that they (meaning drs') just use CFIDS as a 'catchall' when they don't know what it is! Fabulous - not a lot of real support there! But I will keep going to find another - I know they're out there, but I also know that no one has the cure, just treating symptoms right now. I personally have a strong faith in God that gets me thru, plus the support of all the others here is a real blessing. Take care and God Bless Jane macsfarm22 wrote: My daughter was dx'd with FM at age 15. She had a tough go for about 1 yr. She was fine for 5 yrs. Now she's now 21, finishing school & having a lot of fatigue & pain issues. I would do anything for her not to have the life of pain/fatigue that we have.
