Guest guest
U seem to think and speak the way,an UK women would approach this Birthday Gift topic,Amulya,(That was before u left Indian shores),but aaj kal Hamari Bhartiya Naariyon mein kafhi badlao aa gaya hain. They r straight,to the point, aggressive and don't keep u guessing what they need, anymore. THEY SAY IT LOUD AND CLEAR. It's like, " I NEED THAT NAKSHATRA DIAMOND RING on my birthday,or .......it's Khallaas. Simple, sasta and effective threat,Amulya. Shyam(84) Presents from hubby - to malini Malini The trick is to drop subtle (and in LP's case, not-so-subtle) hints such as catalogues opened at the appropriate page and the selected item circled with scribbled comments such as " to die for " or take him for a bit of window shopping (preferably closer to the impending b'day) and point to the desired object, saying, " Now I would really love something like that " !!! For the direct approach, next time you're flying somewhere, take him through the duty free and stop in the perfume section so that he knows exactly what you mean when you talk about " smellies " . You've got until November (am I right?) to try these tactics. Good luck Nadu'82 Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com
