Dear Shyam, Ameet - and everybody else,

Shyam was worried about the lull in the group, and, as usual, he has tried to

wake everyone up. That seems to be Shyam's permanent portfolio!

God bless you, Ameet, for trying to revive the flagging interest in Krrish.

Even I saw a part of it - so I guess your effort has been fairly successful. My

verdict on it is - ummmmmmmm, watchable.

As for me, my long silence was because my father had surgery - a TURP, so I

was caught up with that. He is doing well now.

I did see the article in the Hindu about our college. That was a lovely write

up. Made me feel proud about being an MGIMS alumnus. By the way, in the photo in

the article, the lady behind Badi Behenji is my mother. The gentleman next to

her is a person called Prabhakarji, who was very closely associated with Badi

Behenji, Gandhiji and my parents. Apparently, a more compassionate soul than him

is yet to walk this earth. Incidentally, I was named after him.

Great to hear that Mandabai is back in Riyadh. She had helped Poonam feed the

whole bunch us - starving souls - practically every week end - when we were in

Riyadh!
