Guest guest
ok.. my curiosity is aroused.... what on earth is Kesari Jalebi? How is it different from the regular Jalebis? I know the regular Jalebis... which we were forcefully made to eat during weddings....my dad, my mamaji (uncle) and my nanaji used to have jalebi eating competitions during weddings... and it used to make me sick just to watch them gorge more than 50 jalebis each... and my dad was the height.. he used to drink one to two bowlfuls of the sugar syrup in which they make jalebis......he used to be like " get the the sugar syrup along with jalebis " and the cook used to come out of the kitchen to see who this " shaukeen foodie " is... and me and my mom used to be so embarassed......and my dad and my grandfather used to be like " tum aaj kal ki generation are macchar in eating sweets... in our times, everyone used to eat so much.... " well, max I could eat was 3-4 Jalebis... but somehow when I think about jalebis... i think about my dad dipping 50 odd jalebis in sugar syrup and eating them........ cheers Ameet 1993
