Guest guest
Hi Ellen: Thank you for posting. It helps so much to hear about someone's personal experience on a medication. The Ambien worked really well for me last night - I actually slept from 10 to 7 this morning! Usually it's from 10 to about 3-4 in the morning. I am usually awakened by nerve pain starting from my hips that radiates down my legs, and that also seemed to have been helped by the Lyrica. No, I have never taken Neurontin. I had a friend take that for myofascial pain syndrome, and it made her very woozy, so much so that she was using support from the wall to walk. So, she quit that and began using another med that I cannot recall at the moment, but she is doing well with it. I will definately take your advice and take the Ambien immediately before sleep. Have you had any trouble waking up in the mornings? I was still feeling the effect for a few hours after waking up, nothing too bad, but just kind of dozy. I sure won't drive until it wears off in the morning! And I will keep in mind your experience of fatigue, confusion, and suicidal and crazy thoughts too - how scary. I'm nutty enough without any med making me nuttier lol. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I don't go through that. I hope that the Ambien and Lyrica combo continues to help me - a good night's rest is so important. Thanks again for taking the time to post - Kathe in CA --- ellenljones74 <ellenjones@...> wrote: > Hi Kathe, > > I've never posted or replied to a post before, but > when I read you > were starting to take Ambien, I felt like I had to > write.
