Guest guest
We both join others, in wishing you, all the very best,Anchita. USAID,reminded me of the times, when I had just joined MGIMS in Aug ' 84 and a LIVEAID was held in USA,for the African poor, where a host of the world's best singers had joined in for " WE ARE THE WORLD,...,charity,the sameyear in May. Now,I don't know, if it still exists, but the road from our college library to the hostel goes down thru a mini slope, which if we go straight down leads to a closed big iron gate. Somewhere there, is a mention of USAID on it's plaque at the entrance, and when I joined I was amazed and not knowing much, of that organisation then, presumed, that some part of that charity event must have been given to MGIMS that time,to build our hospital to serve the poor. Shyam-Seema(84) Dear All, I know I seem to be doing it too frequently, but here i go again. I have got a new job! For a change, this is a long term (read permanent) job. So hopefully i won't be bothering you with such news again. I am joining USAID (US Agency for International development) and will be back in my much loved field of Reproductive health, as, what they call, a Programme management Specialist. I'll be joining there on 3rd jan (as 2nd is a holiday there). And wishing you all a very Happy New Year.
