Guest guest
Hello everyone I was on Avair and it did not seem to be working for me (I was on it for about 4 months). My doctor switched me to Pulmicort and that seems to be working fine for me. I'm cathing a cold right now, so I have increased to 6 puffs twice a day. (I believe the recommended dose is a maximum of 2 puffs twice a day...my maintenance dose is 3 puffs twice a day.) I'm on the strongest dose inhaler, but I forget what " mcg's " the components are! bye for now Pamela
Guest guest
For some the Advair doesn't work well and other meds have to be tried. Do what you must to take care of yourself. I'm glad the Pulmicort seems to be working better and I hope your cold goes away quickly. I hate catching colds. They always seem to get into my chest and cause my asthma to kick up. I usually get bronchitis when I get a cold. Take care, pjboucher2001 wrote: Hello everyoneI was on Avair and it did not seem to be working for me (I was on it for about 4 months).
