I was thinking of going to my Dr. to ask for a steroid shot but am not sure if it will help me. I have severe asthma and allergies, what a combination. I was thinking if a steriod shot may help my breathing it would be well worth it. I am taking Advair, Spiriva and albuterol now. I take an over the counter allery med now. Your doctor and you will have to make that decision. Be sure to ask about indications, side effects, costs, insurance coverage and interactions with other medications. When I was younger and more energetic, I actually looked forward to the days where I had boundless energy and slept very little. I would wash my home's walls and ceilings. I would get major spring cleaning accomplished. You do crash and burn though. Eventually your body is extremely exhausted. Good luck. Sorry to hear you are suffering through this.
