Guest guest
sorry havent been in touch in a while but i do browse through all your messages on occasion-lots of new people thats good--welcome to you all--and kerri dont worry about the cane i have been usuing one for 4 years now-one of the first times i went out with it a little girl ran into me in the store and she looked up and smiled and i said ''thats ok honey'' then she saw my cane and let out a blood currdling scream and ran to her father- the mother then screamed ''she almost knocked over a cripple lady " " i cried all the way home.i cannot use a simple cane i use a forearm crutch because i need balance more--you should try to dee the difference-and to tell which one works the best for you cause there is a huge difference in the feel. it is a part of my life now-so i started a collection of them--to make it seem less depressing.if i am going to a small get together i will still use a regular cane but for long outings or bad days i use the forearm one-which i might add came out with a new euro version whick only weighs about 3 pounds and comes in colors and is sooooooo much nicer and less noticable..yes i have a phantom cane for dress all black-with a rose topper...i have a parrot head one/ wooden--for summer--and irish walking stick..and i just got a polish walking stick from poland it looks like an axe--its my way of dealing with it all--no more heavy metal scary ones!!!! i think last time i wrote i was c/o being weak--i was unable to get out of bed for 2-3 weeks so now they have tagged on chronic fatique syndrome--my b/p was 70/30-- i was sooooooooooooo weak......just had to wait for it to pass-they are all connected these diseases--not much ya can do.i also have started getting physical therapy in my home for 2 frozen shoulders i never even new i had??? oh well everyone hand in there.........
