Guest guest
Hello, Wow!!,Mukund, the most beautiful way u have gone about describing your meeting with 2 nice teachers, has indeed struck a nice chord with me as well. More then their dedication,I could sense the love and admiration u have for your teachers. The words conveyed it all. Good read,Mukund. Shyam(84) They made my week...!!! Dear All, They made my week...!!! Last week I had an opportunity to meet my two teachers. And I could celebrate the teacher's day in advance. At Chalisgaon Dr Mrs Rani Bang had come for " jeevan shikshan shibir " for three days organized by Rotary club of Chalisgaon for college students. There was an open interview with her in the Rotary club. Also she visited my nursing home and had an evening with my family.Dr Abhay Bang & Madam were in MGIMS for few days and we had an opportunity to attend her clinics.Ofcourse we were not wise enough to understand their thoughts.(Now we are...!!?) Now they have developed a great work at Shodhgram, in Gadchiroli District. I could have a close introduction to this work during these days.In much of opposition from selfish, political people they have built up their work.(We unnecessarily make a issue of minor problems here and there!) The honesty towards the work, honesty towards people, transparency of the thoughts and work give you great courage to fight with these odds(or rather to bear with these odds..!) Secondly the most humble approach was worth appreciating. She was appreciating small works which were put before her.She was giving credit for the work to smallest person working with them.(And this was not as a strategy but it was from bottom of the heart I could appreciate...! ) And so only they could collect so many of the like minded people and in their 3 month absence (during the illness of Dr Abhay) the show did not halt. I feel this really is a great achievement. I had been to Sewagram for international conference in Obst & Gynae. There I met the ever smiling, hard working & most loving teacher...yes ... that was Dr Chhabra ! Now she is shouldering the responsibility of Medical superintendent even. In spite of her extremely busy schedule, the conference was arranged in an extremely organized way. Again the work and credit was handed over to the every small person who was with her. A great achievement again to collect so many devoted like minded people around. She is a perfectionist. And it was an ideal example for organizing an event. In event of absence of some speaker she was ready with some original work done at Sewagrarm to be presented. The dignitaries had been from national as well as international faculties. And they had been there with lot of affection and appreciation of work. To impart such a wide horizon to dept and in turn to MGIMS, undoubtedly the credit goes to Madam Chhabra and her loving nature, sincerity towards work, and ability to transfer her qualities to others. One driver on the vehicle was saying, " Some people complain about madam that she gets angry many a times, but I assure you she forgets it the next moment. And even she is angry the " mother " in her gets angry with you. Secondly if you try to be as sincere to work as she is she will never say you anything. I have never received any scold from her...! " Hats off to you madam...!!!
