Guest guest
Here's some great news for all MGIMS chaps, and especially the 1976 batch. Aditi, daughter of Dr. Mridul Panditrao 1976 and Dr. Minu, has secured admission to DY Patil Medical College, Pune. Mridul did his MBBS and then Anaesthesia Diploma from MGIMS before migrating to PGI Chandigarh to finish his MD. While studying, he managed to snag a Sardarni wife, enraging the entire Sardar community of Bathinda (where his wife hails from). To escape the wrath of the in-laws, Mridul scurried off to Jamaica, and later to the Bahamas, where he stayed for 15 years. He secured a green card, but just when everyone had given him up as a lost case, he developed a disease called home sickness (of which Shyam is currently a patient). So he dropped everything, except his wife and kids and, of course, a stash of cash, and hurried back to Apna desh. He is currently Dean of Faculty at DY Patil. Officially, he is also head of Dept. of Anaesthesiology. However, practically, with a wife working as Anaesthetist in the same department, he has as much role in decisions as Manmohan Singh. You can send him mails here, which will be promptly conveyed to him. You may also SMS him or even talk to him on his mobile phone. : 09422013954 Kishore Shah 1974

Guest guest
Dear Kishoreda, Thanks for posting yum-yum-p's(Mridul)mobile number on the site, just spoke to him now,we met about five years back in Pune & had a nice evening at The Place,MG Road, by the way if any of you are sizzler or steak freaks then this is the best bet, it is situated next to Manny's which is one of the well stocked bookshops in Pune.So if ur ever in Pune & want to combine a well grilled hind & food for the mind then visit both these places.Kishoreda, please excuse my audacity as this advice is not for u as u are a veteran in Pune, suggesting this to u would be in direct violation of the 11th commandment which states 'Do not teach thy father how to ****' & incidentally the 12th states 'Never bullshit thy father' Regards, Kiran. --- Shah wrote: > Here's some great news for all MGIMS chaps, and > especially the 1976 batch. > > Aditi, daughter of Dr. Mridul Panditrao 1976 and Dr. > Minu, has secured > admission to DY Patil Medical College, Pune. > > Mridul did his MBBS and then Anaesthesia Diploma > from MGIMS before migrating > to PGI Chandigarh to finish his MD. Guest guest
Yes! I have conveyed everybody's best wishes to Dr. Panditrao, or Yum Yum Pee, as he was fondly called in college. He has promised to log in at a later date to personally thank everyone. Meanwhile, he has asked me to convey his heartfelt thanks to all the known and unknown MGIMSites on this group.
