Guest guest
Advair comes in 3 doses. 100/50, 250/50, and 500/50. If Advair is not working for you, ask your doctor to increase your dose. Assuming you are attempting to avoid all asthma triggers and taking your Advair daily. FLOMAX????? Flomax is used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate. I'm sure she was talking about FLOVENT. Keep in mind, Flovent is a single medication, inhaled steroid. Advair is 2 medications in one. It has a steroid and a long acting bronchodilator. THE STERIOD IN ADVAIR IS FLOVENT. If you switch from one to the other, all you will be doing is not taking the bronchodilator. Ask your doctor about that. Good luck. Hi been a while since I have posted. My question is dose Avir work > for you or not. I am on the 250 bid and it just dose not seem to be > helping much. My sister sudjested the flowmax instead or a higher dose > of advir. Any sudjestions or feed back would help. Thanks and I hope > eveyone is doing well. > Kris > > > > > > __________________________________________________ >
