Guest guest
Hi, all. I seldom post, usually I am reading and learning from all of you. But this thread on Abundance and supporting ourselves financially has really stirred me! Bob, you said " My thoughts, my demeanor. Abundance in all its forms is there for all of us. For me it was allowing it in rather than seeking it out. So for me it came down to 'being " rather than " doing " . It reminds me that when I'm out and about and see even a penny on the ground, I always pick it up and thank God/The Universe for reminding me that abundance is everywhere and always available to me! This came as a very hard lesson for me, as I went from my father's house (a successful physician) to my husband's house, and until I was 32, never needed to know how to take care of myself. When I divorced my husband after 15 years, I found myself with 3 children to feed, clothe and shelter on a meager income from my job and a little child support. My greatest fear was losing my home and not being able to feed my kids. I finally, somehow, miraculously, decided that I would succeed, that I would not, could not live my life in such constant fear that I lay in bed at night, every night, and cried... I affirmed and worked and thought new thoughts and over time have begun to realize that Abundance really is everywhere for me, if that is what I choose to see. Getting from there to here has not been easy, but I can tell you it is possible, coming from a woman who was quite sure she'd end up living in a box under a bridge somewhere. Sorry this is so long, but I just know that if I can turn my beliefs and thinking around and be a successful small business owner (and single), own my own home and have no debt except my mortgage, that anyone can do it!! Thanks for listening to me! Love to all - Nikki __________________________________ God created many special people. To behold one, just look in the mirror. Guest guest
Nikki, Hey Thanks for you listening to you! See this is where I just get the giggles! I have thought such painful thoughts for no-good-reason and when it is an " aha " it just melts! And I get lighter and I do giggle.I imagine that guy in Poppins who laughed until he floated! LOL..
