Guest guest
Hi! I looked on the web for info about Dr Bruce Vickery and it seems he is basing his Fibromyalgia treatment on the back and spine. He is a chiropractor. I guess if someone's FM was started due to chiropractic causes maybe Vickery's method and many products are worth a try. This doesn't apply to me http://www.doctorvickery.com/Den.cfm
Guest guest
" I looked on the web for info about Dr Bruce Vickery and it seems he is basing his Fibromyalgia treatment on the back and spine. He is a chiropractor. " While Dr. Vickery is a chiropractor, I don't believe he is basing his fibromyalgia treatment on the back and spine, although he does have a protocol for back pain as well. He is basing his treatment on the body's inability to use protein, thus protein deficiency. He is using amino acid therapy in a more simple approach, I think. I forgot how, but he connects protein deficiency with the muscles storing too much lactic acid in people with fibromyalgia causing the pain. He also includes a strict anti-Candida diet with no grains. Another website has dialogue from Dr. Vickery discussing diet as well as his treatment for fibromyalgia. It is here: http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/4966/fm.htm. The site belongs to a lady. She talks about her ideas of fibromyalgia and then she has Dr. Brice's comments under it. I find his approach interesting. I would really like to recommend it to a friend of mine with fibromyalgia, but that is difficult without hearing from anyone who has actually tried it. -Olif
