Guest guest
Sorry Ameet, I could not open your file, which in itself was quite large (3.5 MB +) Please send your text comments. We shall hear the songs on our MP3 collection. Kishore Shah 1974 my audio podcast friends this is just an attempt of technologically challenged me.. in which I have tried to upload my top 3 sad songs in form of an audio webcast or " podcast " ...the file has an extension " .m4a " and I am not sure if windows media player or real player would open it... quicktime player opens it... try your luck.. and if you are lucky, you may hear my voice.... everyone who has iTunes downloaded on their computers should have no problems in downloading the file let me know if this experiment is successful cheers Ameet 1993 ------------------------------ Website: www.mgims.org ------------------------------
Guest guest
Ameet / Kishoreda, This is something I've been trying to understand - what's the difference between an audio webcast and a podcast ? Can you explain, please? Prabha'84 Shah wrote: Sorry Ameet, I could not open your file, which in itself was quite large (3.5 MB +) Please send your text comments. Guest guest
Well Prabha, A web cast is something which you can run on the web, while a podcast is something which you need an ipod to run. However, if you cannot run either, it means the same thing! Banging your head on the comp. Guest guest
Dear Ameet, I am listening to your podcast using Quicktime player. I do not own a iPod. I downloaded the file last night and it took quite a while. Your soothing voice sounds great. Any plans of becoming a DJ... or should I say PJ since this is supposed to be a podcast! Fun to hear 'badi sooni sooni si' included along with your favorite Madan Mohan and SD Burman tracks. Great stuff! Anshu
Guest guest
anshu Madam thank you so much that you could listen to my podcast... I mean its nothing great, but it was an experiment on my part.. I spent something like 3-4 hrs playing with the software,,, and didnt pay much attention to my commentary... but I am happy that you could download it in Sewagram and so I can confidently say that anyone can download it in any part of the world...!!! I forgot to tell everybody that the file can be opened using quicktime player and you can download the player at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html you can download the free version Anshu madam, thank you for the complements.. I am not that good to be a DJ or something.. frankly, I kinda get embarassed when I listen to my own voice on the computer.... about my choices, I will post my views in a separate E-mail cheers Ameet 1993 > > > > > > > Dear Ameet, > > I am listening to your podcast using Quicktime player. Guest guest
Dear Ameet, Anshu is absolutely correct in saying that you could easily be a DJ (or a PJ)... nice voice. The file plays on Windows Media Player (I have 9.0 on my system). The only thing that is annoying is the difference in volume in your voice and the song... unless that was intentional. Guest guest
Ah! Ameet! At last! I downloaded that Quick Time player and could hear your precious voice. You know something. You sound very cute when you are trying to supress that 'r' in Burman. So when you say " S D Bu'man " , that's typical Ameet chaap. Eagerly awaiting your next pod cast. Where are the other 2 songs of your top 5? Kishore Shah 1974
