Guest guest
Hi Guys: Well for almost a week now I have really been having a lot of pain all over my body. Combo of the RA and Fibro I guess, as I have pain in my thumbs, SI joints, hips, knees, and ankles/feet, and all the muscles everywhere. For the past two days, I have had a lot of pain and stiffness in my neck and upper back between my shoulder blades which is new, and I have been using a rice sock on my neck and a back massage mat too. I have also noticed a lump on the outer aspect of my right wrist joint. Could this be a rheumatoid nodule? It is directly over the bony prominance at the outer edge of my wrist, is hard, about the size of a quarter, and is kind of restricting upward motion of my wrist. It feels kind of bruised when I press on it. What are your opinions? I will be calling my doctor next week about it, although I just saw her a few days before Christmas, as I am pretty curious about what it might be. I figure it is a RA thing, but I have never had any nodules, so I am not sure if that is what it is. I don't think it is a ganglion cyst, as I have seen some of those before when I worked for an orthopedist and it does not look like those did, and it is not squishy, but is hard and bony. Anyway, any thoughts would be appreciated. Hope that you all have a great New Year's eve, being it at home curled up by the fire, or out with friends. We are going to a friend's house which is just a few blocks away - don't know if I will make it to midnight though ........
