Guest guest
Hi Kathe: I just wanted to comment about the nodule/cyst thing. I have had one of those on my wrist as well for the past year. It is on the top side of my wrist, and if I had to describe it as being on the left or right side, I would say that it is more toward the right-top side of my wrist. It is not soft and squishy, but it feels hard and bony. It will get big for a few weeks, and then almost appear to go away, then it will come back again. My allergist that I went to said that it is a ganglian cyst, but when I went to my rheumatologist, she described it this way: " Yes, it is a ganglian cyst, but the location of it shows that it comes off of the actual joint, and not the tendon. When it manifests itself on that side of the wrist off of the actual joint, it is related to an arthritic condition; however, it is not a nodule. It is still a cyst related to arthritis. " Hope this makes sense. Warmly, --- Kathe Sabetzadeh <lv2ryd@...> wrote: > Hi Guys: > > Well for almost a week now I have really been having > a > lot of pain all over my body. Guest guest
(((Kathe))) I am sorry you have been in so much pain. I have also been going through a lot myself. I had to go off the mtx, and so my doc is putting me on Prednisone, 10mg daily. I really hate to, but don't have much choice right now. I'm not sure about your lump on the wrist joint. It does sound like it's connected to RA. Let us know when you get it checked out. I have a couple of nodules on my finger joints. I will keep you in my prayers. Have a good time bringing in the new year, Tawny --- In , Kathe Sabetzadeh <lv2ryd@y...> wrote: > > Hi Guys: > > Well for almost a week now I have really been having a > lot of pain all over my body.
