Worthiness issues

Margaret, I found that money started to flow for me when I asked for help in

unblocking my impedements to abundance. My bottom line was that " I am not

worthy " and this is what I used to put out to the universe unceasingly in

many ways. My thoughts, my demeanor. Abundance in all its forms is there for

all of us. For me it was allowing it in rather than seeking it out. So for

me it came down to 'being " rather than " doing " . Being worthy. Being

deserving. Believing In my worth.

It seems to me that all us " unawakened " ones will always have worthiness

issues . . . I know that I do. Mine are about love relationships rather

than money, but if the appropriate words are substituted, Margaret's post

would have been mine.

I feel pain and fear about my unworthiness to be deserving of a loving

relationship. I'm grateful to be aware that the pain and fear is my own and

I'm not blaming it on anyone else.

I've heard that all longings for physical things (love, money, talent,

success, worthiness, etc.) are really longings for knowing who we really

are, i.e., God.

And unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your view), this cannot be

accomplished by will. It happens when God (the god in us?) deems that it's

appropriate to happen.

I am very glad, Bob, that you've had this insight about allowing abundance

into your life. How did you do it? Was it something you did consciously or

was it something that just seemed to " happen? " I wish I knew how to allow

romantic love into my life (I say romantic, because I have lots of good

friends and family who I cherish, but I can't seem to go that next step).

But I don't. I'm much too fearful.

I have done the work on some of this - but I never posted it. It didn't

seem to help. Maybe I'm not doing it right?
