wow and one of my doctors told me that drinking milk didn't have anything to do with mucus production, though i still had my doubts.

it's very complicated..well not really...it's my bowels. i have a case of candida/leaky gut going on...i think i got messed up when i took a few courses of antibiotics for a stubborn UTI last year....that's why i'm developing food allergies...i cut out dairy 2 weeks ago and my breathing has improved 1000000000000% from where i was 4 months ago :)

Well, you are partly right. Dairy doesn't increase the production of

mucus it increases the viscosity of the mucus you already have. It

doesn't cause you to make more mucus.

Milk and dairy have absolutely no effect on asthma unless you are allergic to them. Scientific studies have proven this.

Absoulutely untrue!!! Dairy is bad for our bodies all the way around. It's produces mucous and very taxing on our system. What studies are you looking at? Ones from the Dairy Assoc.?

Dairy is bad? What planet are you on? Dairy does not produce mucus, that is a falsehood. Dairy products are quite nutrious.

you would think that milk since it has water in it would make it more

loose to cough up easier.
