Guest guest
I was actually going to mention the rinsing thing. I used to take a drug called Azmacort (I now take Advair which is much easier to take and remember) and developed " thrush " while taking Azmacort because I just was not rinsing my mouth enough (I had to take 6-8 puffs as I recall multiple times a day). It was easy to rush through this and not be careful with rinsing. Thrush (or Candida Albicans) caused me to get a very sore throat and raspy, quiet voice. Is it possible that thrush could be some of the cause of a " lost voice " ? If there is any post-nasal drip from allergies I would think the combo could cause a lost voice for sure. The sore throat and raspy voice was a big hassle for me! I was able to get rid of it with a round of Clotrimazole troches (these are dissolved in the mouth). I would suspect that something like thrush is more prone to some of us with other autoimmune diseases (I have multiple sclerosis). Just a guess??? I'll never NOT rinse my mouth again. I've learned how important this is to do. Thrush should be something explored especially if the throat or voice are involved. Just my experience ;-) I hope you are feeling better, d. http://www.medreadytote.com Med Ready Tote - keeping rescue meds within reach > > I hope everyone knows, you must rinse your mouth after use of Advair. >
