I make the smokers go outdoors no matter how cold it is, and I make sure there's wine as well as beer. (I'm allergic to beer, but the sulfites in wine don't bother me a bit.) I don't allow pot: I'm very allergic to the 2nd hand smoke. Best of all, we have extra beds at our house, in case anyone is not good to drive home. New Year's eve!
