Guest guest
Hi, I'm still waiting to hear if there's any arthritis in me, but for now, i have something to celebrate. I made it manhattan from where I am in Brooklyn, but I can't say I'm in very good shape now. Starting last Saturday, my walking was so bad that I couldn't get more than half a block, leaving me effectively housebound. When I woke up Thursday, I noticed that I seemed to be walking a bit easier. I tried walking the three blocks from my building to the nearest subway, and although the walking was uncomfortable and with flashes of pain, I got there and back. Friday (still today, for my hours), I got on the train, visited a friend and went back. I walked about ten blocks, three to the train and back and two to my friend and back. Well, at least I can get around. I'm waiting to hear from the neurologist about my CAT scan. She's been on vacation and will be back Monday, so I was told. My Primary insists that she can't give a diagnosis until she has the neurologist's input/diagnosis. The problem seems to involve cerebral arteries. So, damage from that or RA/OA or who-knows-what A. I won't post until I have more word. Happy New Year, everyone!
