Guest guest
Hello everybody, Firstly wishing you all a very Happy New Year and welcoming the return of regular contributors, and Malini and a new entrant Manoj Singh(90). ,in today's world, losing a mobilephone is indeed like losing a big part of us,as they seem to hold a lot of our social contacts, plus a whole lot of collection of memories in form of photos, videos, songs etc etc. The Riyadh based MGIMS gang now r the new members of the Handheld PC phones,I-mate Jam,which everyone in our group seem to be buying one these days. Right now,we r busy exchanging notes, operating instructions on telephones, and trying to understand the working of this instrument. Just as a point of interest for my friends who love to posses hi-tech gizmos in their bag, these PC phones,r as costly as the laptops, with same configuration, plus with nearly 1-2GB storage, and with an additional small software,u can even watch a 3 hr long film while on the move. And with excellent earphones,it really is a great feeling to watch Star Wars-Return of the Jedi,on the small screen. ,Ur mention of the beautiful word,Supercali....,brought me back to the present, when now,all the movies that I considered sissy wayback in my school and junior college days in the 70's and 80's,I am now bound by duty,to watch them all with my daughter on DVDs,every weekends, and recently,I have just finished lapping up The Sound Of Music,Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,Poppins and the last in the series of Pixar Animated cartoons of Barbie-many times over, plus the last of Kate and movies as well. Prabha was damn right. My daughter sure knows, who will be supporting her movie re-runs. Bye. Shyam
