Guest guest
...every word said about the car,is true. BTW,what did you say,you did for a living?. Thanks to Saudi Arabia,I have had this opputunity to experience the grandeur effect. When u press on the accelarator,on these smooth roads,it gives u feeling of taxing on the runway, moments before the takeoff, and despite owning this vehicle for 2 and 1/2 yrs,I somehow, still love this effect everytime I am on the expressway.A monster of a car,a petrol guzzler, yes, but here,it's OK. The audiosoundeffects and some of it's inbuilt luxury features r excellent and on purchase,I mentioned to Prabha and my other relatives, that it's like owning one suite in TajMahal hotel, every day. Shyam(84) Re: Getting to know me,Ameet. shyam sir....... isnt Grand Marquis a " mercury " .....? I mean, it is still a " luxury " version of Ford Crown victoria , here in the states..... (well, these are all names of cars) but, Grand Marquis chalane mein alag hi mazaa hai... first of all the 8 cylinders of power....and the seats are sooooo huge that you feel that you are sitting on a big sofa.... I am not exaggerating whrn I say that 3 people can comfortably sit on the front seat (done that....!!!) ..... and that car gave me nightmares during parallel parking....... and it is a gas Guzzler... well, Saudi mein petrol proces ki chinta kahan??? I had a friend here who was from Riyadh and he used to tell me that in Saudi, 6 cylinder cars like toyota camry are considered " economy " ....!!!!! oh well, everyone is not bored of the " car " talk... but well, if we can talk about " modaks " and " dal vadaas " , then why not " cars " ??? cheers Ameet 1993
