I am like a human barometer! I absolutely hate humidity. I can tell first

thing when I wake up if it is going to be humid that day. My hands and feet

swell dramatically when it is humid and my hair does not even deserve to be

mentioned, it gets very fuzzy and curly! My stiffness lasts longer and the

swelling unpleasant and the ache in my bones is intense. I have migrated to

the country and away from NYC to enjoy central AC and cooler air and feel

much better than last year when I stayed in the city and the heat radiating

off the sidewalk was too much for me.

Yeah, no geographical cures for us, eh?! But, yeah, I've lived

in humidity and it's hard (albeit beautiful and green and so good

for the skin and hair (what little I have left, wah!))

Good luck if you ever do an experiment :)

Hi there...everyone is different but humidity is the worst for me, and any

dramatic swing in barometric pressure. The humidity in the summers in

Florida, combined with the change every day in barometric pressure when the

storms

came through, was enough to encourage me to move away!

This is my second summer in Seattle and it has been much easier for me here.

Even the winters here, which can be somewhat humid, are not as bad as the

weather stays very constant vs. changing.

Take care,

A
