Not always instilling good values...... Even today given a chance I would do

the same again. Nowadays too when the kids wanna do something fun I

encourage them. The sad thing is that there is less of clean fun these days.

Back in our times being 'baaad' was to eat forbidden peru or being

boisterous.

The other day my husband was telling off my daughter for climbing trees. I

told him not to as I had not only climbed trees, my way of entering my house

on the 1st floor was often along the drainpipe so I could not tell off my

kids for the same.

Also the group of friends I got from college days were great and we r still

in touch these days. What I see is that my kids do not have 'best friends'

the was we had. My kids are more house bound and not too keen on going out

with their friends. It is sad but the price we pay for staying in separate

houses etc. These 'best friends' were our confidantes in our growing days,

our teenage crushes were confided in them, our aspirations were discussed,

our dreams......
