Guest guest Posted November 18, 2005 Report Share Posted November 18, 2005 Hey guys... well guess what i'm finaly almost in conroll of my asthma again after 3 weeks. We doubled my advair dose to the 500/50 and I started on xopenex, this suff rocks. Ok one xopenex tx lasted longer than an albuterol neb tx, like twice as long. I was taking albuterol nebs every 4-5 hours. The xopenex ones only one every 6-8 hours. I'm finaly able to breath again. This is soo cool!!! (plus it taste better than albuerol and defenitly better than atrovent (yuck!!!). I guess i was also having nasal allergies, i didn't notice though, i guess an itchy nose gets put aside when you cant breat lol. So they put me on flovent for that, which has helped i guess... i can live with an itchy nose. I did have a question for any of you guys. I was wondering is zopenex like albuterol, kinda like how zyrtec is like hydroxizine (2nd geration). Ok i know nerdy question but i was just wondering. Thanks everyone.
