I have had shoulders lock as well as my fingers in the form of a fist. I know my hands lasted most of a day at the worst of it, and the shoulder would ease up once I got in the shower and was able to get some meds into me. I was putting off getting my knees replaced since I was told to wait as long as I could because I was so young (40 at the time). One day it just locked up and I couldn't straighten it. I guess I waited long enough LOL! I was scheduled for an immediate replacement. Best thing I ever did. Good luck to you.
