Hey !

It's not right to have these IDIOTS grabbing these kids like that.

I think your concern for those kids has helped a lot if they are getting

baptized soon! :)

My friend's mom is very protective of her almost 3-year-old granddaughter,

which I think is smart. The dad works to try and have money for clothes for

her. My friend's dad is retired, so he stays at home with his little

granddaughter! :) I know the whole family from Church. They trust me with

their granddaughter MAINLY because the girl's grandma has known me my whole

life! They can trust me with their granddaughter because when the little girl

was younger, she used to call me mom! :) (once in front of her own GRANDMA!)

My asthma, believe it or not, actually survived a day in 20 degree weather!

(Yes, it was cold and snowy up here in northern IL!)

three kids I take to church on my van route. Their mother gets verbally abusive

and I reported it. I know this because they used to live in my apartment

building. It's been some better since the kids have been in church and I've

invited the mother to church several times. I think now that two of the kids

are getting baptized soon, maybe she'll come to church. I know that will help

things if the whole family is going. The kids are coming out of their shells

now and doing very much better. I'll tell you a scary story. In a nearby town a

mother and her daughter were doing laundry at a laundromat there. A man was

able to lure the child to the door and grabbed her. The mom was able to get the

tag number of the car and called the cops. They caught the guy and got the

child back safely. We have to teach our kids not to let strangers lure them

like that. I feel it's ok to teach kids to be polite but to be very wary and

careful and not get too close to someone they don't know and to fight and/or

run from someone who tries to grab or harm them. How's your asthma doing? Mine

is trying to act up right now. We're in the middle of another major weather

change here so it's affecting me. >

Hi , I know. I'm glad he got caught. Hey, did you hear about the pervert that snatched and killed a girl in Florida. His trial has been on Court TV. He was found guilty today on several charges including First Degree Murder and kidnaping. He's facing a possible death sentence, which honestly, I hope he gets. The kids are being shown what true love is and that's helping their mom too. It's good to be protective. I'm that way over mine. I trust the people at church because I've known them so long, but I'm very careful of who takes care of mine. I'll be taking care of Aaliyah when finds work. She plans to work in the evenings so I can do day classes at school. Burke wrote: Hey !It's not right to have these IDIOTS grabbing these kids like

Thanks . I'm going to look for that one. My daughter is building Aaliyah a collection of Pooh books and that one will be a good addition to the collection. yvonne wrote: There's a great book for kids that talks about strangers. It's called, "Don't talk to Strangers Pooh" - yup it's a Winnie the Pooh book and it is GREAT! Bill and Canter wrote: We can all work together to help watch the kids. knows the manager of one of the Taco Bells here and is willing to put her on evenings. did an application but hasn't heard back yet. She's going to call tomorrow and check on it. Our pastor has started a screening procedure for anyone working with kids to make sure there won't be legal problems. We've been hearing about churches and day care centers getting sued over abuse issues, so we're being careful. Burke wrote: -That's good that you have worked that out with !
