Guest guest Posted November 9, 2005 Report Share Posted November 9, 2005 Hi group, Well, I got my stitches out today, which was good, but had to start an antibiotic due to an infection in the shoulder. He could see a " pocket " of infection, so working aggresively to treat it before it gets worse. More bad news, due to the infection no water aerobics for at least another 2 weeks. Bah. But I am keeping up with therapy, home and at the hospital, and doc said I am maybe 2 weeks ahead of where most people with this surgery are, so I'm grateful for that. He mentioned " some inflammation " in the joint, but didn't elaborate. He commented on my " half and half " appearance as a result of the nerve block--it looked like one half of my body had been boiled while the other half was white, and a clear line down the middle!
