When we were still in the house in San Diego with the extended family situation, my husband got a consulting gig that fell out of the sky that was a direct answer to prayers. It lasted about 10 months and then it got discontinued, so we were back in the unemployment boat. We didn't know what to do. So he started hunting and got an interview out here with Ocean Spray (he got it from Monster.com. Anyway that led to his discovery that there were big old houses for cheap here and so he hunted for a job and got a lowish paying one that had good benefits, a good starting point. We didn't have benefits at the last job in CA. That job has been sure and steady and it was a series of doors opening and closing, and sometimes being LOCKED. But it all worked out and the good thing is I have geographical boundaries too now and that really helps me. My Baptist grandmother who was as sweet as they come always told me, " We don't know what the future holds, but we know WHO holds the future. " I know that things will work out too.
